As soldiers return victorious from war, happy couples are re-united, but not the rivals and verbal adversaries, Beatrice and Benedict. In a clever plot, their friends and family scheme to bring them together. Funny and charming, this opera takes the best of Shakespeare’s comedy and written artistry to create a lively opera with elegant orchestral expression.
