TOURING PRODUCTION
In alternating years, Calgary Opera’s McPhee Artists bring the excitement of live opera to schools, libraries, and community centres across Calgary and southern Alberta. These fun, fully-staged productions are crafted especially for young audiences and provide listeners with a deeper understanding of classical music, operatic singing, creative storytelling and the history and traditions of opera.
OPERA TOUR
The classic tale of Little Red Riding Hood (with a few twists) is brought to life through a delightful and charming children’s opera. Calgary Opera brings the magic of opera directly into Alberta schools, libraries, and community centres.
These performances also include a Q&A with the singers, and an in-depth study guide to support engagement before, during, and after the performance.
