The classic tale of Little Red Riding Hood (with a few twists) is brought to life through a delightful and charming children’s opera. Calgary Opera brings the magic of opera directly into Alberta schools, libraries, and community centres.
These performances also include a Q&A with the singers, and an in-depth study guide to support engagement before, during, and after the performance.

Registration for the 2025-26 year will open on March 1, 2025 and features the classic tale of Little Red Riding Hood, adapted into a family-friendly opera by American composer Seymour Barab.
